26 This statue is characteristic of the Mabea sub- style, except for the color of the wood, which is blackish instead of a pale reddish patina. It is naturalistic both in its proportions and details, for example, the hollow of the collar bone is shown. The statue has a typical helmet-like coiffure devided by a central parting. Long arms reaching the knees with palms placed on her thights.
