21 This powerful female ancestor figure possesses many characteristic features of the Ngumba style: a long heavy structure with rounded forms, surmounted by a large spherical head,shaped as inverted pear with stylish face:broad curved forehead above large eyes,made of brass discs encircled by mirror glasses.The brown wood is enlivened with brass accents. Two rows of cowries-shells necklace encircle the strong neck, while two large copper rings are tied around her left arm with a piece of cloth.
